The CONTRA 60 is the high-performance variant of ORBITAL's compact CESE active lightning rod series. With a certified ΔT of 60µs — double that of the CONTRA 30 — it provides significantly wider protection coverage from the same compact footprint. Designed for direct mast mounting, it suits telecom infrastructure, industrial rooftop equipment platforms and any application requiring wide-area protection with minimal installation complexity.
The CONTRA 60 delivers protection radii up to 111m, making it suitable for medium to large structures where a single active lightning rod must cover the full footprint. Its threaded direct-mount base eliminates additional mounting hardware, accelerating installation and reducing the number of roof penetrations required.
The CONTRA 60 requires no external power source, no batteries and no electronic control unit. It is entirely autonomous — once correctly installed, it operates indefinitely with only periodic inspection. All components are manufactured from 304L inox stainless steel, ensuring reliable performance in marine, industrial and tropical environments.
